automatically mutes embedded/"hardcoded"/non skippable ads on Pluto tv live channels... and unmutes once the main programme resumes! makes sense, right?

you can also HIDE the ads while they are playing; in this case, they will be replaced by a static image/channel poster - just change the hidevid variable from 0 to 1 :-) when using the player in full screen mode - by clicking the full screen icon in pluto player - the screen will simply remain black for the time the ads are playing.

important:
typcially, you will have to disable ad blockers such as uBlock in order to make the script work. this is by design as it watches for the little countdown overlay which may not appear if ad blockers are enabled.
