Likely fixed. Updated a lot of stuff. But I cannot be sure as you did not explain your issue.

I just tried the new update, it still doesn't work for me. I don't know what the exact issue is. I just installed it, refreshed my browser expecting it to save my playback position in my youtube videos on edge for windows, but it doesn't seem to do anything for me. My videos always reset back to the beginning whenever I refresh the page, close it, or switch between videos.

Are you perhaps using TamperMonkey with Edge?

I tested both Chrome and Edge, pairing both with TamperMonkey and ViolentMonkey. I got all the combinations to work, but the combination of Edge+TamperMonkey is by far the most buggy. If indeed using TamperMonkey, you may need to restart your browser before things will work (this process seems to be unnecessarily and must be done in a certain order or else the extension would stay bugged it seems). I would recommended ViolentMonkey over TamperMonkey, however, as it has significantly fewer issues after the Chromium manifest V3 situation.

If you happen to be using some other script manager just tell me and I will test that for you.

On a side note, since a day or two ago, YouTube seems to have started aggressively automatically redirecting regular videos to their own generated "for you" playlists. As this script currently excludes playlists and livestreams/VODs, if you were trying against those videos then my script would not trigger. If YouTube decides to stay this aggressive with their playlist redirect then I would probably need to remove playlists from exclusion.

Yea I'm using tampermonkey with edge. Pretty much every time that I watch YouTube now it's from a playlist either the watch later playlist or the YouTube video queue, mostly the video queue though so maybe that's why it wasn't working for me. I'll try to restart the browser as well to see if that works. If it still doesn't work after that then I'll see if it works with violentmonkey instead. Thanks for the feedback.
